SGA Senate takes retreat, sets goals for future

The SGA Senate recently cemented their goals for the school year. On Sept. 19, the senate traveled to Crow's Neck Environmental Education Center in Tishomingo, Miss. for their annual retreat. The purpose of this retreat was to set goals and unite the group under a common purpose.

WASHINGTON (AP) _ A pair of one-night polls gave Barack Obama a clear edge over John McCain in their first presidential debate. Fifty-one percent said Obama, the Democrat, did a better job in Friday night's faceoff while 38 percent preferred the Republican McCain, according to a CNN-Opinion Research Corp.

Big Spring Jam lives up to name

Review _________ Last Friday kicked off Huntsville's Big Spring Jam, a three-day festival that included various musical acts from Kenny Rodgers to Styx. The acts spread over several stages with vendors and activities filling the streets between the three main stages.
